See the names first, then check when they pulled ahead
The panel above shows how many coins beat BTC and the five strongest names. Each name comes with its own price change and its lead over Bitcoin. You get the shortlist before scrolling through a large chart or opening several separate markets.
The default is 30 days. The 7/30/90-day counts help you see whether outperformance is confined to a short window or also appears over longer ones. If you have a market move in mind, pick its date and the ranking and chart will update together.
When did the coin pull ahead?
The dashed 0% line is BTC. A line that climbs throughout the window gained ground steadily; one that stays flat then jumps owes its lead mostly to the final days. The chart starts with the top five in the current ranking. Check coins in the table to replace them with your own picks.
Changing the start date can change the order completely, especially after a sharp one-week rally. Testing “since I started watching” is often more useful than treating the default 30-day winner as an enduring leader. This is a view of past performance, not a forecast.
Beating BTC is not the same as making money
The Vs BTC column answers “was this stronger than holding Bitcoin?” The Price change column answers “did its dollar price rise or fall?” A coin down 5% still beats BTC if Bitcoin fell 10%, but that does not erase the dollar loss. Read both columns together.
Switch to All comparable coins to see how far laggards fell behind. To overlay the ordinary dollar-price performance of your shortlist, check coins and open the custom coin comparison chart. That chart uses a newer hourly cutoff, so its numbers may differ slightly.
What this ranking cannot tell you
It cannot explain why a coin moved or turn relative strength into a trade signal. If you intend to trade a perpetual, check funding costs separately. Large tracked positions can add context, but do not establish the cause of a rally.
This page covers the 50 most active eligible altcoin markets on Hyperliquid’s main perpetual venue at scan time, not every altcoin or the 50 largest by market cap. A newer coin without a price on your start date cannot be ranked. The snapshot cutoff is shown above; use Rescan markets if it is behind.
Prices come from Hyperliquid’s public API for perpetual contracts, which can differ from spot markets and other exchanges. Fees, funding and leverage are not included.
Frequently asked questions
Which altcoins are outperforming Bitcoin right now?
The leaderboard above lists them. It defaults to 30 days; switch to 7 or 90 days or pick your own start date. Read the number of outperformers first, then the names, margins and paths instead of focusing only on the top coin.
Can I see which altcoins beat BTC since a date I choose?
Yes. Choose a start date above. The ranking and BTC-relative lines update together, so you can check performance since a market event or since you started watching. The available daily history goes back up to 90 days from the snapshot end.
Can a coin beat BTC and still lose money?
Yes. If a coin falls 5% while BTC falls 10%, it beats Bitcoin but still loses dollar value. Read the Price change column alongside Vs BTC.
Was a coin strong throughout the period or only in the last few days?
Check its line above. A line that hovers around zero then spikes owes most of its lead to the final stretch; a steadily rising line gained ground over more of the period. Change the start date to test how sensitive that story is.
Do many outperformers mean altcoin season has arrived?
Not by itself. This is an actively traded group of Hyperliquid perpetual markets, not the entire crypto market. The count can show whether strength is broad within this group, but it is not a market-wide altseason index.
Why is a coin missing from the ranking?
A newer coin may lack a price on your chosen start date, or its history may be temporarily unavailable. Such coins appear in the unavailable list rather than being counted as zero. The snapshot date is shown above; you can try a new scan if it is old.
