Put your watchlist on one chart: who led, and who fell behind?
Add ETH, SOL or a few coins you are actually considering. One chart shows who led, when their paths diverged, and who suffered the deeper pullback. That is easier to see than flipping between separate candlestick charts.
The default is 30 days. Switch to 7 days to inspect a recent move or 90 days for a longer path. Start with two or three coins you care about; adding too many lines can make the comparison harder to read.
No shortlist yet? The altcoins outperforming Bitcoin page shows how many coins beat BTC, which ones did, and how their lead developed from a date you choose. Bring interesting names back here for a closer comparison.
Similar final gains can hide very different journeys
First compare the endpoints, then the paths. One coin may have climbed steadily; another may have plunged and only caught up in a late rally. Their final returns can be similar, but their drawdowns—and the experience of holding them—were not. Drag the time slider to read every coin at the same hour.
The default Price change view starts every line at the same 0% point, so a high unit price does not dominate. The table below gives the final gain or loss for each coin and can be easier to scan on a phone.
If BTC rose too, was this coin really stronger?
Switch to Against BTC. Bitcoin becomes the flat 0% reference line; above it means the coin outpaced BTC, below it means it lagged. This helps separate a coin’s own strength from a broad market rise. But relative strength is not dollar profit: a coin down 5% still beats BTC if Bitcoin fell 10%.
What should I check after spotting a strong coin?
Price strength is a starting point, not a reason to copy a trade. The funding-rate tool helps you check the cost of holding a perpetual position. Top position holders shows the larger tracked positions in a market, and the wallet tracker lets you inspect an address you already follow. Large positions alone do not explain why a price moved.
If you decide to trade, estimate your own costs with the Hyperliquid fee calculator. A chart’s percentage gain is not your take-home return after fees, funding or leverage.
Why might a coin have no line?
This version uses the Hyperliquid public candle API. It compares perpetual contract prices, which can differ from spot markets and other exchanges. It does not require an account or a connected wallet.
A newer market may lack 90 days of history; try 7 or 30 days. Coins without a start or end price are listed separately rather than drawn over a different window. Gaps inside a line remain blank.

Frequently asked questions
Can I compare Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana on the same chart?
Yes. Use the BTC · ETH · SOL quick pick or search to add your own coins; click × beside a selected coin to remove it. Every line starts at the same 0% point, so the chart compares performance rather than unit prices.
When did one coin pull ahead of another?
Look for the point where their lines separate, then use the time slider to read both at the same hour. The final ranking only tells you where they ended; the paths show whether the lead was steady or appeared late.
Why can two coins with similar returns be very different holds?
One may have risen steadily while the other fell hard and recovered in a sharp final move. Compare their pullbacks and divergence on the chart, then switch to Against BTC to see whether either actually outpaced Bitcoin.
What does a positive return against BTC mean?
It means the coin gained ground against Bitcoin. A coin up 20% while BTC rose 10% is ahead by about 9.09% against BTC. A coin can also fall 5% in dollars yet beat BTC if Bitcoin fell 10%; read its dollar-price change as well.
Why is a coin missing or unavailable for 90 days?
This version covers available Hyperliquid main-market perpetuals, not every crypto asset. A newer market may lack the opening price needed for a full-period comparison. Try 7 or 30 days. Missing start or end prices exclude that coin; missing hours inside a series appear as gaps.
Is this spot performance or my trading profit?
The chart uses Hyperliquid perpetual contract prices, not a consolidated spot index. It measures unleveraged price changes and excludes fees, funding, slippage and liquidation. Your position's return can be very different.
Is the chart live, and can I share it?
Opening the page loads completed hourly candles. Refresh requests newer data; there is no automatic live tick feed. Copy chart link saves your coin selection, period and comparison mode, but loads fresh history when reopened. Download PNG saves a dated image of the current results.
