How to find Hyperliquid trader wallets and check their P&L

Find a public address, compare performance over the same period and inspect current positions before deciding whom to monitor.

Start by finding an address, then investigate what the account actually holds and how it performed over a defined period. A screenshot of a large winning position does not establish a consistently profitable trader. Public monitoring lets you inspect a candidate without connecting your wallet.

1. Find a candidate in the official leaderboard

Open the Hyperliquid leaderboard, select a period and open a trader’s details. Copy the full 0x address from the account view. Read the leaderboard’s inclusion rules: a ranked list is not a census of every account.

If the table is empty or failed to load, do not interpret it as zero active traders. Refresh, check the selected period, or use an address that the trader has independently made public. A display name alone is not a reliable identity match.

2. Inspect current positions

Paste the address into the wallet tracker. No private key or wallet connection is needed. Inspect the asset, side, size, entry and unrealized P&L. Compare the entire address rather than just a familiar prefix or nickname.

3. Separate performance from deposits

Account value can rise because the owner deposited more money. Current unrealized P&L is not the same as realized trading profit, and changing the selected window can change the story. Compare like periods and look for repeated activity, losses and drawdowns as well as large wins.

A visible short could hedge a spot holding elsewhere. A large winner could be one surviving account among several attempts. Public data is useful, but the visible address is not necessarily the person’s whole portfolio.

4. Monitor before copying

Record why you are watching an address, which markets it uses and what changes would invalidate your interpretation. Revisit positions and completed trades rather than relying on a static ranking. Our large-order tracker can help distinguish a scheduled order from a completed trade.

Copying later gives you a different entry, funding exposure, fees and holding period. Finding an interesting wallet is a research step, not an instruction to reproduce its leverage or risk.
