Free Hyperliquid Tools: Funding, Whales and Trading Costs

Choose the right free tool to check funding, inspect a whale wallet, compare coin performance or estimate trading costs. See what each tool shows and when to use it.

Start with your question

All nine Market Depth Lab tools are free and need no wallet connection. Choose funding, wallet tracking, performance comparison or cost estimates below, then open the tool that fits your question.

Which Hyperliquid tool should you open?

Use the table to find a tool for your question. Each link opens a free analysis page; the sections below explain how to combine them.

Check funding before holding a perpetual

Open the funding monitor to compare holding costs across main perpetuals and HIP-3 markets. Search for the market, read who pays, then compare the current hourly rate with the past 24 hours.

A positive rate means longs pay shorts; a negative rate reverses that direction. Hyperliquid settles funding hourly. The 24-hour figure sums historical rates for the visible rows. Annualized values are comparisons, not promised returns. See the official funding explanation.

Example: a constant 0.001% hourly rate on $10,000 of oracle-valued exposure would transfer $0.10 each settlement, or $2.40 over 24 settlements. A long pays in this scenario; a short receives. Actual future rates and position value can change.

Continue to the fee calculator for your own holding-cost scenario. A market’s rate history alone cannot reconstruct what a wallet actually paid.

Track a wallet, a market or a large order

You have an address: use the wallet tracker

Paste the public address into the wallet tracker to see main-account positions, orders, spot balances, returned fills and reported PnL history together. Check position size and liquidation distance alongside profit or loss.

Open-position PnL, closed PnL from returned fills and account history describe different things. The tracker does not combine every HIP-3 account or trading venue into a complete strategy return.

You have a market: start with positions or holders

Use large-trader positions to compare tracked long and short exposure across markets. Open top position holders for the addresses behind large positions in one market, then inspect an address that interests you.

These rankings cover a rolling monitored-address pool, not every Hyperliquid account. Check the observation time before comparing a holder row with a freshly loaded wallet. A HIP-3 position may belong to a separate DEX account that the base wallet view does not show.

You want to watch execution: use TWAPs

The TWAP tracker shows active public schedules returned by HypurrScan. Side, scheduled size and running time help you see an order being worked. Half the scheduled time elapsed does not mean half the order filled. The official order documentation explains why a TWAP can finish short of its target.

For transfers or displayed liquidity, use the deposit and orderbook monitor. A deposit confirms a transfer, not a purchase. A wall combines orders at a price level, may be cancelled and does not identify its owners. Check the latest collection time before treating an event as recent.

Build a shortlist, then compare the price paths

No shortlist yet? Open altcoins outperforming Bitcoin. Pick 7, 30 or 90 days, or a start date that matters to you. You get outperforming names, dollar-price changes and their lead over BTC. The scan covers 50 active eligible altcoin markets on Hyperliquid’s main perpetual venue, not the whole crypto market.

Already choosing between coins? Use the comparison chart. Put two or three names on one chart to see who led, when they diverged and which had the deeper pullback. Switch to Against BTC to distinguish relative strength from a broad market move.

A coin down 5% can outperform BTC when BTC falls 10%. It still lost dollar value. Read both measures together. These tools use perpetual prices, with different cutoffs; price returns exclude leverage, trading fees and funding.

Estimate the whole trade, including the exit

Use the fee calculator once you have an order size and holding scenario. Enter opening and closing notionals separately, then add funding, slippage and extra app costs.

For an equal-sized $10,000 taker entry and exit at the standard tier-0 perpetual rate of 0.045%, trading fees total $9, before discounts and extra costs. Fees apply to position value, not just margin. Use your account’s effective rates for discounts, mixed maker/taker execution or HIP-3 rules; see the official fee schedule.

The calculator uses your assumptions. It does not quote orderbook slippage or forecast funding. A useful sequence is performance chart → funding monitor → fee calculator: inspect the market, check the holding cost, then estimate entry and exit.

If you decide to place an order, check your account’s applicable rate in the official Hyperliquid app. Reading any tool above does not require a trading account.

How fresh are the results?

Funding and a loaded wallet request public API data. Position rankings use a rolling scan; the deposit monitor uses collected events. Performance charts use completed candles or a dated snapshot. The fee calculator uses your inputs. Check the time beside each result.

If a section is unavailable, refresh or return later. A missing position or coin is not enough to conclude its value is zero. For your own orders, balances and execution, use the official trading app. These tools interpret public information; they do not place trades or provide automatic copy trading.

From finding a trader to estimating a fill

Find a public trader address → inspect its positions → estimate order-book slippage. For holding costs, use the cross-exchange funding comparison.

Frequently asked questions

Do these tools require an account or wallet connection?

No. The analysis pages read public data for free. The wallet tracker needs a public address, not a signature or private key. Placing a trade is a separate action in a trading interface.

Is this a crypto screener with RSI and chart-pattern alerts?

No. The funding monitor compares funding, open interest and volume; the performance tools compare price changes. They do not scan for RSI setups, detect chart patterns or send trade alerts.

Can I track spot and every HIP-3 position in one wallet view?

The wallet tracker shows returned main-account perpetual positions and spot balances. HIP-3 positions can live in separate DEX accounts, so that view is not a complete cross-DEX portfolio. The position and holder tools include configured HIP-3 markets within their monitored address pool.

Why can a holder ranking and a wallet show different positions?

A holder row may come from an older observation or a separate HIP-3 account. Check its market and time, then refresh the wallet view. Neither page combines every trading venue into a complete portfolio.

Can I bookmark and share a tool result?

Several tools provide Share or Copy link buttons for the selected address, market or chart settings. Reopening may load newer data. Use a dated CSV or PNG export where available to preserve the result you saw.
