How to Buy Stocks on Binance: Stocks vs. bStocks

Compare Binance Stocks with bStocks, buy with USDT, understand fees and dividends, and learn how to sell or withdraw stock tokens to a BSC wallet.

Direct answer

Eligible users can buy shares in Trade → Stocks or trade tokens such as TSLAB on Spot. Shares are held through a broker; bStocks trade 24/7 and can be withdrawn to a BSC wallet.

Can you buy stocks on Binance? Stocks vs. bStocks

Suppose you already hold USDT on Binance and want exposure to Tesla. Search for TSLA in Stocks to buy shares held through a broker, or TSLAB on Spot to buy a token linked to Tesla’s economic performance. Both routes can use your existing crypto, subject to their own eligibility requirements.

What are bStocks, and why can you hold them in a wallet?

bStocks are tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate. Each series is intended to be backed by its corresponding security or other eligible assets under the program’s legal documents. Published collateral information has its own timing and scope; it is not a real-time, unconditional redemption guarantee.

Holding a bStock gives you economic exposure to the specified security. It does not make you a shareholder of the underlying listed company or give you direct voting rights.

The tokens run on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), so supported bStocks can be withdrawn to compatible wallets and used in applications that support them. Binance Wallet is a separate self-custody product from the exchange’s spot market. A token with a familiar name in a wallet is not necessarily the official bStock.

bStocks is a product family, not a single generic coin called BSTOCKS. Check the specific ticker and contract.

How to buy shares on Binance

  1. Check access. Open Trade → Stocks. Complete the identity, agreement and eligibility steps shown for your account.
  2. Choose the security. Search for TSLA, NVDA or a supported stock or ETF. Confirm the company and security type.
  3. Select your payment asset. The guide supports USDC, USDT, BNB and other specified assets. Non-USDC payments are automatically converted to USDC when you submit the order. Review the conversion quote and fees.
  4. Set the order and session. Choose an amount or quantity and the available order type and trading session. The guide lists a $5 minimum investment and fractional trading for selected securities; small orders still have a minimum platform fee.
  5. Check tokenization settings. If you want to keep shares, check that the option to tokenize the order is off.
  6. Confirm execution. Review the order status and settlement date. The selling section explains when sale proceeds can be withdrawn.

The buying guide names Alpaca Securities LLC as the partner broker for execution, clearing, settlement and custody. A shareholding is different from a token balance in your spot wallet.

How to buy bStocks on Spot

For a stock token purchase, start with its available bStocks spot pair.

  1. Confirm bStocks access in your account and read the required product agreements.
  2. Open Spot → bStocks, or search for an available pair such as TSLAB/USDT or NVDAB/USDT.
  3. Check the company, ticker, quote asset and minimum order size. Each spot pair has its own minimum; the $5 Stocks threshold is not a universal bStocks spot minimum.
  4. Review the bid, ask and spread, then choose the order type. A limit order controls your acceptable price but does not guarantee a fill.
  5. Once filled, check your spot balance. To sell, return to the pair and place a sell order; the proceeds are in that pair’s quote asset.

Eligible shareholdings can also be converted through Token Conversion. For a new stock purchase, the Tokenize this order option requests tokenization after the order has been accepted, executed, settled and processed. Placing an order is not the same as receiving the tokens.

Converting bStocks back into shares requires a Stock Account and acceptance of the applicable terms. Being able to trade or hold the token does not guarantee conversion access. For eligible positions, the official documentation describes 1:1 conversion with no conversion fee, subject to maintenance, corporate actions and eligibility restrictions.

The Tokenize all orders setting is described as applying to new orders. Use the asset page’s conversion function for existing shareholdings. The documentation does not establish how changing the setting affects orders already open; check those orders directly.

How to sell stocks on Binance

Sell shares in Stocks; check settlement before withdrawing

Sell the holding in Stocks. Proceeds are credited to your Funding Account in USDC. Before settlement, the official guide allows them to be used only for spot trading, stock trading and Earn subscriptions. An account credit does not mean the funds are already withdrawable.

The next settlement cycle after execution may fall within T+1 trading day. Weekends are not trading days. Check the filled order’s settlement date; a date shown for an unfilled GTC limit order is only an estimate. See the official order and settlement guide.

If you want to move shares to another broker

A brokerage transfer is an optional, separate operation. The DTC transfer-out guide, updated September 22, 2026, states:

  • 150 USDC per stock symbol. Moving AAPL and NVDA costs 300 USDC, rather than one fee for the entire request. The fee is charged at submission and is non-refundable even if the request is rejected, cancelled or incomplete.
  • Whole shares only. Both accounts must belong to the same person with matching legal names. Start under Funding → Stock Transfer → Transfer Out, then submit the corresponding request to the receiving broker.
  • Wednesday processing batches. Allow at least 21 business days from the processing Wednesday; timing also depends on the receiving broker. Only one transfer-out request may be active at a time.

Ordinary selling does not require a DTC transfer and does not incur this transfer-out fee.

Sell bStocks on their spot pair

Sell the token on its spot pair to receive the quote asset. Converting it to shares and then selling uses a different route with stock-account eligibility and securities settlement rules. To keep the token but move it to your own wallet, use the BSC withdrawal steps.

bStocks tickers: TSLAB, NVDAB and other examples

These five examples come from the initial listing announcement. They are not the complete current list. Check your account for available pairs; the number of securities in Stocks is not the number of bStocks series.

Before depositing or using another wallet, check the full contract against the official listing announcement. For example:

  • TSLAB · BSC: 0x5b1910eAaD6450E50f816082Aa078C41F10C292f
  • NVDAB · BSC: 0x02Fca66C1D1aFB4E2A7884261eB00F63598a7436

TSLAB and xTSLA, or NVDAB and xNVDA, belong to different product systems. Do not assume they share a contract or deposit network.

Binance stock fees: what does zero commission exclude?

Zero commission does not mean a zero-cost order. The stock buying guide lists a $0.35 minimum platform fee and a 0.1% spread charge for larger orders.

The official threshold is inconsistent. The English buying guide updated September 13 uses $350, while the Chinese Stocks fee schedule uses $340 and includes that exact amount in both brackets. These documents do not give one consistent answer for boundary orders. Around $340–$350, check the fee breakdown in your order preview.

The examples below follow the buying guide and sit away from the disputed boundary:

Buying guide’s order-value bracketCost and example
$350 or less$0.35 minimum platform fee; a $100 order costs about 0.35%
Above $3500.1% spread replaces the minimum platform fee; a $1,000 order costs $1

Search results mentioning a $0.17 platform fee or 0.05% spread may refer to an expired promotion. Its stated discount period ended on September 30, 2026 at 23:59 UTC; that announcement does not establish a valid discount on October 4.

The examples exclude currency conversion, applicable taxes and other charges. Review buying and selling separately. ADRs can also have additional fees.

For bStocks, separate conversion, trading and withdrawal costs. Official documents list no conversion or custody fee, but spreads and network fees can apply. Check the specific spot pair’s maker/taker rates in your account. The initial zero-maker-fee promotion ended August 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC; it is not evidence of today’s rate.

Do not automatically apply ordinary crypto spot rates, BNB deductions or referral benefits to securities. The Binance fee calculator covers its stated crypto trading scenarios; use the Stocks order preview for a stock purchase.

Binance stock trading hours: 24/5 vs. 24/7

Regular U.S. stock market hours are Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding U.S. market holidays. Eastern Time changes between UTC−4 during daylight saving time and UTC−5 in winter. Selected securities offer pre-market, after-hours or overnight sessions, up to 24/5; check the order’s Session setting.

Market orders execute only during regular trading hours. Use the supported limit-order options for extended sessions. A market order placed while the regular market is closed may wait until the next opening: submitted is not the same as filled.

bStocks spot markets can trade 24/7, including weekends when the underlying U.S. market is closed. Token prices can then move away from the stock’s last closing price. Check spreads, market depth and your order size.

bStocks dividends and different wallet balances

bStocks generally do not send cash dividends to your USDT wallet. The issuer expects to reinvest net dividends after applicable withholding taxes, fees and other deductions, then reflect the adjustment through a Multiplier. Stock splits and reverse splits can also use this mechanism.

Your raw on-chain balance may stay unchanged while Binance or a compatible wallet shows a higher adjusted balance. A wallet that does not support the multiplier may show the raw quantity. A display difference alone does not establish missing tokens, extra profit or a guaranteed return.

Eligibility and processing dates follow the specific dividend announcement’s snapshot conditions. Cash dividends and voting services for shares follow the stock account’s own rules.

Which services can pause during corporate actions?

The bStocks FAQ describes these typical arrangements; an individual event’s announcement may differ:

Corporate actionDeposits, withdrawals and share conversionSpot trading
Dividend reinvestmentTypically pausedMay remain available during some processing periods
Split or reverse splitTypically pausedTypically paused too

For example, the September 17, 2026 SPYB announcement paused deposits, withdrawals and share conversion from 23:30 UTC that day, while SPYB/USDT spot trading remained available. This is a historical example, not a claim that services are still paused or that every bStock follows the same timetable.

A delisting, merger or liquidation can involve selling underlying assets, cash-in-lieu or other adjustments. Do not assume trading will simply resume unchanged; payout amounts and timing depend on the series and event announcement.

How to withdraw bStocks to Binance Wallet or another BSC wallet

  1. Confirm the receiving wallet supports BNB Smart Chain and check the official bStock contract.
  2. Select the token and BSC / BEP-20 network on Binance’s withdrawal screen, then enter the receiving address.
  3. Review the minimum amount, network fee and current withdrawal status. Use a small first transfer that meets the minimum.
  4. Confirm receipt and the balance display. Further on-chain transactions normally require BNB for gas.

The official deposit and withdrawal guide currently supports BSC only. An address starting with 0x does not make Ethereum or another network an acceptable substitute. A wallet displaying a token also does not mean every DEX has liquidity or can execute at the underlying stock price.

Self-custody remains subject to transfer controls. An ineligible or restricted address can be refused recognition by the platform or frozen at contract level; depositing back does not guarantee trading or conversion access.

What if Stocks or bStocks are unavailable in your region?

The bStocks documents distinguish an ADGM prospectus offering from secondary-market access for eligible users in certain jurisdictions. bStocks are not available to U.S. persons. A Binance.US account or a Binance.com registration link does not establish eligibility for this product.

Elsewhere, check the residence, service-entity and securities eligibility requirements in your account. If the product is missing, ask Binance Support before funding for it. Do not infer eligibility from another person’s tutorial or use false identity or location details to bypass restrictions.

Shares carry brokerage custody, execution and settlement risks. bStocks add issuer, underlying-asset custody, smart-contract and on-chain liquidity risks. Collateral information is not a real-time redemption guarantee, and bStocks have neither SIPC nor FDIC protection. Tokens can trade away from their underlying security’s price. Using them as collateral adds application and liquidation risks.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see Stocks or bStocks in my Binance account?

Access depends on your region, the service entity and account eligibility; maintenance may also affect access. A crypto trading account does not automatically qualify for securities trading. Update the app and ask Binance Support about your account if the entry is still missing. Do not use false identity or location information to bypass restrictions.

Can I buy stocks on Binance with USDT?

The Stocks guide supports payment with USDT and other listed assets, which are automatically converted to USDC when the order is submitted. bStocks also have spot pairs such as TSLAB/USDT and NVDAB/USDT. Eligibility, quotes and costs differ between the two routes.

Are bStocks shares in the Binance company?

No. Each bStock series is linked to a specified security, such as Tesla for TSLAB or NVIDIA for NVDAB. bStocks are not shares in Binance, and BNB is not Binance company stock either.

Can I send bStocks to an address for xStocks?

Do not treat similarly named tokens as interchangeable. TSLAB and xTSLA, or NVDAB and xNVDA, belong to different product systems with potentially different issuers, contracts and networks. Only deposit the asset and network explicitly supported by the receiving platform.

Is transferring shares to another broker the same as withdrawing bStocks?

No. A DTC transfer-out of shares supports whole shares only and costs a non-refundable 150 USDC per stock symbol. Requests are processed in Wednesday batches; allow at least 21 business days from the processing Wednesday. Withdrawing bStocks sends tokens to a BSC address and has separate minimum amounts and network fees.

Why can't I withdraw the proceeds immediately after selling shares?

Share-sale proceeds are credited to your Funding Account in USDC. Before settlement, they can only be used for spot trading, stock trading and Earn subscriptions. The next settlement cycle may fall within T+1 trading day; check the filled order's settlement date. Weekends are not trading days.

Can I convert bStocks back into shares?

Conversion requires a Stock Account and acceptance of the applicable terms. Account eligibility, security availability and processing pauses also apply. Being able to buy or hold bStocks does not guarantee access to share conversion. Eligible users can review and confirm the conversion in Token Conversion.

How are bStocks different from stock futures or options?

Buying shares or spot bStocks does not require opening a leveraged position. Futures, options and services that use bStocks as leveraged collateral have separate margin, expiry or liquidation rules. The spot purchase steps in this guide do not apply to those products.
